Our boutique agency collectively works together to create strategies specific to your goals, utilizing facets of public relations, marketing, social media, content creation, brand development, website development and event planning to generate excitement and passion for your brand.

We’re a national company with boots on the ground in Texas and California, but our approach is unlike most.

Through SMPR, our public relations, marketing and digital agency, as well as, SMPR Events, our event production company, we believe in providing a custom, all-inclusive package of integrated marketing expertise. This allows our clients to select from services that range from branding strategy and strategic planning to event management, social media campaigns, media relations, and more. We combine senior level expertise in marketing and event planning, with long-term strategic relationships with the media, influencers, and tastemakers, finding creative ways to align brands with the right audiences to support your marketing goals.

Brands also look to us to create unique, custom-concept events for product launches, influencer engagement opportunities, grand openings, and more. From budgeting, event design, onsite event management, strategic alliances and sponsorships, our extensive background in event planning allows us to deliver exceptional results. Meet the Talent

Jenifer Strauss

Jenifer is a multi-talented marketing and public relations professional who brings more than two decades of marketing experience to the company and her clients. Pairing strategic marketing campaigns with ambitious public relations plans, Jenifer has successfully launched brands and products in markets throughout the U.S. She is experienced in conceptualizing, creating, and implementing innovative strategies for a broad range of clients including culinary, beauty, retail, lifestyle, business, and real estate, among others. Jenifer utilizes her vast network to reach target audiences and consistently broadens her clients’ influence with the goal to minimize costs and increase profitability and exposure.

Prior to SMPR, Jenifer spent a few years working in various areas of the real estate industry until she joined the team at Republic Property Group, and was instrumental in the development of Lake Forest, a Dallas high-end residential community. Upon completion of the project, she saw the opportunity to take the aspects she enjoyed most (marketing, public relations and event planning) and venture out on her own to create Strauss Marketing – PR.

She’s very involved in her community and has organized, chaired, and raised funds for numerous non-profit and community organizations close to her heart. She has been involved in organizations on both a national and local level, serving on the Board of Directors of the Family Place in Dallas, consulting with the National Center for Learning Disabilities in New York City as well as assisting in launching the inaugural campaign, Make March Matter, for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Mark Davidovich

Mark boasts more than ten years of public relations and marketing experience in the luxury and consumer lifestyle categories, with a special focus on fine jewelry, accessories, watches and beauty. Mark’s expertise lies in strategic media relations, brand strategy, business development, synergistic partnerships, event planning, styling, social media and integrated marketing services. Currently based in Los Angeles, Davidovich spent the first 11 years of his career in New York City, where he landed his first public relations position at Aveda and quickly worked his way up. In 2008, he joined Studio PR and ViewPoint, where he spent more than half a decade immersing himself in the fine jewelry, accessories, watches, fashion and beauty categories. Davidovich’s roster of distinguished clients includes: Aveda, Clinique, MAC Cosmetics, Sevan Biçakçi, Philip Stein, Marvin Watch C°1850, Caswell-Massey, Gianna Rose Atelier and World Gold Council. He is also a published writer, editor and accredited global trends forecaster in the fine jewelry and watch sectors.

Nicki Patel

Nicki oversees day-to-day operations at SMPR, and has been with the company since 2009 during which she has spent her time honing her skills in public relations, digital marketing and influencer relations. Born in Oklahoma, and raised in Texas, Nicki attended the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a B.A. in Management Information Systems. Prior to SMPR, Nicki’s experiences included time at Edelman where she worked on corporate accounts including MetroPCS, The Boy Scouts of America, Project Management Institute, Dickies, and OMGPop. Before that, she worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Protiviti in Dallas, TX where she spent time evaluating client businesses and working with strategy teams to find new efficiencies in technology business processes.

Allie Lesiuk

Allie manages the communications department at SMPR and cultivates long-term relationships with the press, creatively pitching the media for varying story placement. Born in Texas and raised in Singapore, Allie returned to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University where she graduated with a B.A. in Corporate Communications

Kati Furseth

Kati’s expertise is in public relations, marketing, community relations, and event production/management. While at SMPR, Kati has worked with several clients ranging from family owned multi-unit franchisees, shopping centers, retail, and more. Prior to her move back to Dallas, Kati spent time at SSPR in Colorado Springs where she focused on public relations for technology and business clients. Kati attended the University of Oklahoma majoring in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations.

Gail Rubin

Gail has an extensive background in fashion and lifestyle public relations and marketing. Prior to co-founding Studio Communications, she was the Vice President at a top Manhattan fashion agency. During her tenure there, she oversaw the fashion and accessory divisions and directed accounts such as Nanette Lepore, Maggie Norris Couture, Jay Strongwater, Kooba Bags, Heidi Weisel, Diesel Style Lab, and Jill Fairchild’s “Where to Wear” shopping guide. Additionally, she worked on runway show production for Nautica, Rebecca Taylor, Liz Lange Maternity, Matt Nye, and the Vogue/VH1 fashion awards. Prior to that, Gail was employed by Ralph Lauren in their international licensing division, where she served as the liaison between the US womenswear design team and the Japanese markets. Her past experience also includes publicity for Estée Lauder, Joe Boxer and Wellman Fibers. Her years of experience in runway production, store openings, celebrity dressing and media relations have fostered outstanding relationships with top press around the world. Gail holds a BA from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, where she majored in Textile Development and Marketing.

Stuart Rosenberg

While focused on public relations, Stuart’s experience incorporates many facets of the business-to-business and business-to-consumer communications process, including advertising, marketing, promotions, business development and sales. Before returning home to Houston in 2002, Stuart held senior account management positions at three, top Manhattan public relations firms, where his specialty was the travel and hospitality sector, encompassing hotels and resorts, destinations, airlines, cruise lines, spas, bars and restaurants. While in New York, he also represented clients in categories such as real estate, luxury and consumer goods and technology/online. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Trump Hotel Collection, Mohegan Sun, Boca Raton Resort & Club, Golden Door Spas, PGA National Resort & Spa, Singapore Airlines, St. Lucia, Greater Fort Lauderdale, Celebrity Cruises, Rolex, 3M, Tupperware and Proctor & Gamble are just a few of the blue chip accounts on which he has worked. Throughout his career, Stuart has pursued an active role in both the account and creative aspects of public relations, taking projects from concept to completion. He has written bylined articles on behalf of his clients, which have appeared in national magazines, and has been responsible for the copy of numerous advertorials, direct mail pieces, brochures and newsletters. Stuart is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and holds a BS in Advertising.
